Basic Contract Management Course
During this two-day course, you will learn the fundamental contract processes and activities and gain the essential tools needed to manage your contracts effectively towards the planned goals.
Another key aspect of the course is how to enhance collaboration within your organization regarding contracts and the best ways to communicate and maintain strong relationships between customers and suppliers.
Additionally, you will acquire knowledge about legal aspects and risk management, empowering you to make confident and informed decisions throughout the contract process.
As part of the course, you will receive a 100-page textbook on contract management, along with several practical tools and checklists developed by leading practitioners in Denmark. These include templates for contract initiation meetings, communication plans, contract management plans, change management, risk logs, experience logs, and more.

The course combine theory with practical examples, supplemented by exercises, self-reflections, and dialogue. The course is interactive, allowing you to reflect on your own role and initiate necessary actions within your organization.

Participant Profile
This course is designed for you who are involved in contract management and contract-related activities on a daily or regular basis in a public organization or private company. You are a contract manager, but your main role may also be in another field, such as procurement or bid management, IT management, project management, purchasing, sales management, tendering, or legal advisory.

René is a highly experienced instructor and researcher in the field of contract law and contract management. He has written numerous articles and books on the subjects and brings extensive practical expertise from his previous consulting work with government entities, legal professionals, and IT suppliers.
René is an active member of the World Commerce and Contracting's Advisory Board and has contributed to key educational textbooks in our programs.

Since 2010, he has been teaching Contract and Commercial Management. 100-page manuscript on contract management, a 25-page framework on "Good practice Contract Management", as well as methods and tools that can be used directly in one's own practice.

Effort
We recommend that you read the manuscript on contract management of approx. 100 pages.

There is no exam.
