Who is NSCCM?

NSCCM stands for Nordic School of Contract and Commercial Management

Our goal is to spread knowledge about contract and commercial management in public and private organizations. We do this because commercial and legal management of contracts is becoming increasingly crucial for efficiency, profit realization, and competitiveness in both private companies and public organizations.

Therefore, we offer courses and certified educations in Contract and Commercial Management (CCM) that contain the most well-founded international knowledge, research, and practices in the field. We have educations at different competency levels, and also shorter courses in sought-after areas.

At NSCCM, we have experienced interest and demand in particular areas of contract management, and therefore we have developed courses in collaboration with experts in the field. If you want to gain more legal knowledge, we have developed "Commercial Contract Law", and we also offer specialized courses focusing on practice within IT contracts and Purchasing, as well as the English course "Negotiate, draft and manage contracts in English". In all our educations and courses, you get concrete tools to apply and translate your new knowledge into practice from day one.

Education and competence development

It's often underestimated how complex the activity of planning, designing, and managing contracts and business relationships is. Many companies and organizations lack the necessary overview of their contracts' inception, development, and operation. This unfortunately often leads to fragmented processes and tensions between different stakeholders' goals, resulting in inefficiency and value loss at the bottom line.

Individual employees need to be able to oversee this complex puzzle, so processes can be aligned, simplified, and optimized, and this requires a common language and understanding of contracts, contract management, and their application in the organization/company.

Education and competence development of an entire organization doesn't happen on its own. To be successful, it requires someone to dare to take leadership for the necessary change. And this is where NSCCM's educations and courses come into play.

In our certified CCM educations, we base our teaching on the IACCM/World Commerce & Contracting process model, which includes a series of activities that optimize the benefits of contracts. These activities ensure, among other things, an overview of processes and activities, heightened awareness of communication, risk reduction, etc., all important factors that help secure increased commercial benefits. In the post "What is Contract Management?" you can read more in-depth about NSCCM's view on Contract Management.
